Thanks Angela. It’s so nice to have support. I have yet to tell anyone we are expecting as I want to wait until at least 12 weeks if I can.
I do hope everything is ok with Ria and little Leo.

Hi ladies, just read to catch up on everything.
Angela I hope your nephew makes a quick recovery and continues to do well.

Nikkilou, sorry to hear you lost one of the triplets but let's hope the other 2 keep progressing and doing well. I think it's more common then people think to loose one baby with multiples as I've heard a lot of stories on my ivf pregnancy page of loosing one of twins or triplets. It's a lot harder on the body and a lot more complications.

Me and Leo are doing well, haven't had anymore appointments since my midwife one 2 weeks ago and I will see her again next week. We went to MAU last week with reduced movements and once monitors were on he started moving but not as much as normal but went back to normal the next day and the hospital was concerned. Our next scan isn't till 20th but hoping we will get our c section date then to start the planning and going to ask about having a spinal block instead of epidural as heard its meant to be better recovery and more effective. Also starting to really struggle with work and being exhausted so possibly going to talk about going off a little earlier as it will be more worth it then reducing my hours.

Glad you both are doing well Ria. I bet you can’t wait til your scan! My next scan is in 6weeks and that’s with hospital (unless midwife will schedule us for more).

Ria I’m glad you and Leo are doing ok. It’s a very stressful time for you I’m sure without the worry of reduced movements.
It is very common to lose a twin or triplet with multiple pregnancies. I just have to keep hoping the remaining 2 are fighting to hang on. My nausea and vomiting is so bad I feel terrible from the moment I wake up til I go to sleep. But funny as it is, it makes me feel like they are ok while ever I am sick. If it stopped I would worry more I think. Sounds weird I know lol.
Angela how is your nephew doing? You’re not finding out what sex you are having are you? I don’t want to but at the same time I feel I need to so I can be prepared.
I hope everyone else is doing well.

That’s what I was like Nikkilou, I didn’t care what symptoms I suffered as long I knew the baby was ok.

Our nephew is back home so he is all good, thanks for asking! We have reached 28 weeks today so 3rd trimester and the last stretch! And yes, we don’t know the baby’s sex. Anything you buy baby wise is for either sexes and it’s quite easy to buy unisex baby clothes.

What a start to third trimester - off to hospital for reduced movement. I think baby just turned it’s bum against the stomach but of course as always best to check!

Hey Angela, how did the hospital go? Nearly ended up there today myself as had pink blood on tissue this morning but was told to just keep an eye on it and had nothing since.
I made the decision today to bring my maternity leave forward a bit as I'm really starting to struggle. I now finish on the 26th of this month, which is good as gives me more time to be home and relax and make sure everything is ready. And will help as I will have a lot of appointments in my last few weeks so will be easier then having to sort everything out with work. Can't believe I'm 31 weeks, or that I'm even pregnant after all this time. Just hoping that the little blood this morning was not the start of showing and that he stays put a little longer.

Ah that's good, yeah I was told if 2 lots of reduced movements they usually refer for a scan. How did the scan go?
Leo did the same when we went in started moving when mo itors were on. He doesn't like things in his space, like if I am leaning my hands on him while in my phone or anything like that he starts kicking till I move haha.

Just had my scan. Everything looked great and estimated weight now was 2lbs15oz or 1.341kg which again is just on track. Baby is still head down and just hope it stays that way until delivery!

On the worse side my nephew was taken to hospital again by ambulance. They had very scary day yesterday with moments were they were not sure if he is gonna make it but he is on the ventilator now and is in stable condition. They think he has got bronchialits so it’s just too much for him to breathe and fight infection at the same time. So the ventilator helps him breathing whilst he deals with the virus. Hopefully he won’t stay in hospital too long.

It's great that your scan went well Angela. I can't wait for ours next week. And sorry to hear about your nephew and hope he recovers quickly and gets back home. My god son had bronchitis when he was a baby and it was horrible to see him like it but obviously will be harder for your nephew with him being a prem baby.

I saw my midwife today and we have gone from 50th centile to above the 95th. I am so proud of my little man and how well he is doing.

Glad to hear Leo is doing so well! Hope scan brings even better news!

He has got bronchiolatis rather than bronchitis, that’s a bit heavier virus. But he is doing good so far. They are turning off ventilator now sometimes so he would breathe on his own too. We got our first nct class this saturday, quite looking forward to that!

That's great that he is doing well Angela. Hopefully he will be back home again soon. Hope you enjoy your NCT class I cancelled my bookings as one was a tour which were now at a different hospital, one being breastfeeding but we have a breastfeeding nurse at the hospital we're at that will help more with expressing and one was a new parents one but we won't be able to do a lot of the things for a while. There meant to be really good though xx

Yeah, i hope so too. I don’t expect to learn a lot from them lol but do hope we will get to meet some nice local couples! Next weekend we also got a couples workshop that is run by my pregnancy yoga tutor. It will be all about what physically to do during labour (positions etc) and will teach what partners could do to help rather than just sweat and pass out during the labour lol.

Haha I'm so scared of Aaron passing out during my section. I've just told him to keep his eyes on me and behind the curtain haha. I've been told some classes really help but if not there good to build a support network.
