Adult Acne in NC
« on: December 12, 2017, 04:43:42 PM »
I’ve always had beautiful skin but as soon as I hit 35, all hell broke loose on my face.  It started with tiny bumps just under my bottom lip and escalated to up my jawline & cheeks and even some on my forehead.  I know that picking at my face is the worst thing I can do, but I can’t help it!  I wash my face 3 times at night and exfoliate every other.  I work for Aveda so I use their moisturizer (which I love) and eye cream.
I really want to go to a dermatologist but don’t think that acne consultation is covered by Blue Cross Blue Sheild.  I live in NC.  Anyone else dealing with adult acne?  Advice???

Have you heard of milia? Look it up on google and see if it identifies with your own spots. If so it’s all to do with your moisturiser. Hope this helps.

You are probably aggravating and making your skin inflamed and worse if you wash it three times at night.
Always glad to help!
