Armpit rashes
« on: August 24, 2018, 04:04:49 PM »
Ok so this is going to sound really weird. But are there any other ladies that get armpit rashes every time they wear deodorant? This is going to sound really gross but if I don't wear deodorant the rash goes away. But being a lady, I kinda need to wear deodorant. Are there any people that have a suggestion as to what deodorant to use? I have included a picture of the rash.

Are you allergic? Do you wear it right after you shave? I’ve never had it happen, but it might be an allergic reaction.

Yes, it's probably a allergic reaction. Try to get a deodorant that is for sensitive skin, and that has no fragrance.
Always glad to help!

I am not allergic to anything! And I have tried deodorant that has no fragrance. I know it is really weird.

It looks like an allergic reaction to me! Hipoalergenic deodorants maybe?

It also has a texture. It is really lumpy and it itches really bad. Antiitch cream doesn't really help.   :(

Are you using gel or bar? Try changing the type you are using.

I was using a bar and then I tried gel and that didn't work either. So nothing is working on me right now. I can't go without deodorant because 1) that is just gross and 2) I am a dancer and my teacher will not let her dancers go without deodorant.

I think you should tell your mom and see a doc.
