Tampon Hurts?

 ??? Yesterday I tried putting a tampon in for the first time and it really hurt. What should I do?

You are probably putting it in wrong.

Look up how to insert it in right.

There are different sizes of tampons, so maybe you have the wrong size ?

If you have a heavy flow, use the super or regular tampons but if you have a light flow use the mini tampons. You also need to be relaxed when inserting I find. Might sound yuck in this context but sometimes I use a bit of saliva so that it helps the tampon slide in easier. You can also buy tampons with applicators which I’ve heard is very helpful. If you can’t really feel the tampon inside, then that means you’ve inserted it correctly. Good luck
