Tampon help
« on: November 09, 2018, 09:32:58 PM »
I have my dancing concert soon and I’m supposed to have my period on the day but my period does frequently come late so I was wondering if I don’t have my period is it safe for me to wear a tampon (because it might come on that day) and some of my costumes are like legit just a leotard to I can’t wear a pad. What should I do???

Well you’re not supposed to wear a tampon unless you have your period BUT in saying that if I was you I probably would.

It’s one of those rare circumstances that makes sense to me. Why it wouldn’t be safe is because of risk of TSS (very rare and very unlikely)

Here are the symptoms of TSS obviously if any appear take it out and inform a doctor. (Like I said highly unlikely)

a sudden high fever (temperature)
vomiting
a sunburn-like rash
diarrhoea
fainting or feeling faint
muscle aches
dizziness
confusion
