Just for teens / Re: First time having sex and felt nothing

It’s normal.....your first time is always a bit of a disappointment....you expect to see stars & often you get nothing. The enjoyment comes from experience, your discover what feels good, what turns you on etc the more you have sex.

If you are 10 days late then it’s not to soon for a test. It’s very rare that a test wouldn’t pick up that you were pregnant at this point, so if you’ve had 2 negative tests then you can believe them & are not pregnant. Having sex towards the end of your cycle is unlikely to result in pregnancy unless you’ve had a late ovulation which in turn would also give you a late period. However I suggest if you really don’t want to be pregnant & you want to be doubly sure on protection that you go on some other form in contraception aswell as condoms to prevent this worry again

Does this happen every cycle?? Some women sail through each cycle with no issues at all others suffer badly, I use to be exactly the same, would even pass out with the pain....in the end I went in contraception to help ease my periods. Your best bet if they are affecting you that badly would be to get advice off your doctor....there are plenty of things out there nowadays to help control your symptoms

Very unlikely to be pregnancy related if it’s been a couple of periods. Some people get implantation spotting, but that would only be the month you fell. Your still having your periods regularly, they are just not lasting as long which can be perfectly normal. Keep trying & im sure it will happen so, completely normal to take up to a year to fall pregnant, so your still only in the early stages of trying
Good luck

They can change & for no reason, I use to always have a 28 day cycle with 7 days of bleeding, 5 heavy & 2 lighter. Now I average a 25 day cycle & I bleed for 5 days, 2 days heavy, 2 days light & 1 day spotting. But occasionally it likes to throw me & appear earlier/later or last longer/shorter.
It is normally just a normal change, the most important thing when ttc is to know when you ovulate which if you are having 27 day cycles would be around day 13-14 for you. Though because you can’t always be sure exactly which day you ovulate, I’ve always believed if your ttc the best way is a relaxed approach & to have sex every 2-3 days to cover all your bases.
Good luck

Having sex one week ago, it is too soon to take a pregnancy test. It’s now to late to take the morning after pill so you are just going to have to wait it out & take a test if you miss your period. Where were you in your cycle? Did you check the condom to see if it split? Your probably feeling ‘off’ because you are worrying about the possibility of ending up pregnant. Wait till your period is due then if it doesn’t come, test!

Periods / Re: Missed period

you count from the day of the start of your period to the start of your next one. How ever many days there is, then that’s your cycle. Obviously it’s not always as simple as that, it’s normal to have a few days different some months, but if you are recording when you period comes, you’ll start to notice a pattern & be able to work out the average length of your cycle

You are on the pill, as long as you are taking it correctly then you are fine, you are having protected (from pregnancy) sex, even on your pill free week you are covered.
However for future reference if you are having sex which is unprotected I.e no form of birth control, you are still at risk of falling pregnant whether or not he finishes inside of you & no amount of tissue wiping or washing will prevent it.
But your on the pill so you are fine!

the Average cycle is 28 days, some go less some go more, but 26 days in between a period is nothing to worry about especially as you’ve said your irregular.

Periods / Re: Fertile Window

If you have unprotected sex yes! It’s why it’s called your fertile window.....it’s the most likely time you would conceive

Periods / Re: Fertility Window

So that means fertile window only happens 14 days before the mestration and if the intercourse happened days after the mestration then that means it is not best time to gwt pregnant? Quite confused.

If you have a 28 day cycle you’d ovulate on day 14....that egg will stay alive for 12-24 hours. So best time to be having sex to give you every possible chance is between day 9-15. When counting your cycle you count from the first day of bleeding, if your period was to last 7 days having sex just 2 days after it finishes put you in that fertile window! Not everyone has a 28 day cycle or bleeds for 7 days (this is just an example), So you need to know how long your cycle is, to work out when you ovulate. Even having sex spot on doesn’t necessarily mean you will fall pregnant, there are lots of factors and processes your body does to produce a baby, but this time is the best time for trying. But as I said if you just have regular sex throughout the month (every 2 days) without the added pressure of trying to pinpoint ovulation, then you are covering a your bases.

Sperm can stay alive inside if you for approx 5 days, the egg once released lives for 12-24 hours. So your most fertile 5 days leading up to & 1 day after ovulation. Ovulation occurs 14 days before your period starts. If trying for a baby it’s best to have sex every 2-3 days that way it covers all your basis and gives the best chance of falling

Periods / Re: Bleeding twice in one cycle!
« on: October 06, 2018, 06:00:19 AM »
You’ve confused your body, you took your pill correctly at first then when you started the new pack, you’ve stopped.....started.....took it late etc your body doesn’t know what’s happening. The second bleed you’ve had is a withdrawal bleed from either stopping the pill or incorrectly taking it. While in the pill you don’t actually have proper periods just withdrawal bleeds you had that on day18. So now you need to wait for your next few periods before you can even start to try & work out your cycle, and even then it can take up to a year to regulate. You can still get pregnant in that time. So it’s a waiting game, it could come now, you may miss this month it’s relly impossible to tell.
