Periods / Re: Implant. Plan b.

The spotting has stopped now which oddly concerns me.
My stomach just feels uncomfortable but I don’t know if it’s because I’m looking for any abnormal signs.

I’m in the same situation!!!!
But I had my implant inserted 7 days before I took Ellaone because the condom broke and the Doctors advised me to do so.

So about two days after taking the MAP. I’ve had cramping and pain on my right side and day 1-2 of semi bleeding was just unbearable pain. But it’s not a normal period for me... just awkward bleeding of all shades which is my issue. TMI sorry.

But yeah. Its does cause horrible periods. You either get it ASAP or it delays it and it’s just painful and heavy.

Periods / Implant. Plan b.
« on: March 21, 2018, 02:28:31 AM »
I got the implant on the 7th. Then had an issue with the condom on the 14th.  The condom broke at the very last moment and he did end up cumming on my back because he felt like something didn’t feel right. Which was lucky.
I’m aware you should wait 7 days after the implant to have unprotected sex but unfortunately we planned to have it protected and it broke.

I called the doctors and asked if plan b was an option. They say yes. They sent the pill through the post as I was traveling at this time and said it was fine for me to take on the 16th.  It was Ella one

Then I had brown spotting on the 18th. Followed by blood spotting on the 19th. Had extreme cramps but not a heavy flow on the 20th but still enough to drip while going to the toilet. And today’s the 21st. Got some light numbing cramps so far and still bleeding but not a full flow.

What I’m wondering is this normal? Is it just my body reacting to all the hormones it’s been “pumped” with

My friend had a similar thing happen to her. Exactly the same , her period was like clock work. Untill one time, she barely got one.
But she took a test and she was completely fine.

Your body could be going through stress or hormones changes which could be the reasoning for your odd spell.

I’d still test just to ease your mind. Good luck. Hope you get your desired out come x

Heyia ,
I used to have a bit of an eating disorder and yes diet can affect periods as well.

For example if you don’t have enough nutrients you can “loose” your period ( which happened to me )

And eating a lot of crap can affect it too.

If you’re sexually active and have not used protection best to test.

However , stressing about it being delayed can all delay it even more.

Keep a good diet. Hot baths and ensure your stress levels are down.  Relax!! Xx

Go to the doctors and explain your fears.
They may give you something else to take.

Unprotected sex with no birth control. Does mean the chances of pregnancy is high ...?
Again it always varies if it was near when you ovulated ?

Have you had unprotected sex ?

Are you on birth control ?

If so, have you missed a pill?

Take a test????

Ever since coming off my pill & due to get IUD inserted, I’ve been so unaroused. I’m the same situation as you, boyfriend isn’t too please and does think it’s his fault sometimes

It may just be hormones trying to settle, if you’re new to the IUD

Unless you’ve taken your birth control wrong ... it’s a higher chance that you’re not?

Yeah my older sister did have some bruising in the area ... wouldn’t expect anything less than it to hurt a bit. They have inserted a hormonal matchstick into your arm. Hahaha ;)

But yeah, let me know how you get on. Be nice to know someone else’s experience!  I’m not booked for my appointment till the 28th of Feb anyways. So I’ve got a while to wait.

Just for teens / Re: Make up pressure

Never feel pressured to wear make up!!! I regret wearing it so young. It ruined my skin because I was too young and upset about my acne  to actually use proper primers and take good care of my skin. It’s all about what other people are doing that are the same age. I say don’t follow the crowd and just do you.

Make up is a bit of fun and arty, it also gives you an opportunity to express yourself. But so does not wearing make up!
It is scary seeing young girls as young as 10-13 wearing expensive make up brands like MAC and Urban Decay! Around that age , the closest thing I had to make up was mud when I played sports!
