Pregnancy / Re: Advice on getting pregnant?
« on: January 22, 2019, 11:12:45 AM »
I’ve tried so many products, the basic ones like seven seas trying for a baby and pregnacare conception, these just worked as a multivitamin for me I just noticed my hair was shinier and and skin looked nicer etc. I did a lot of research into fertility and Wobenzym N, it’s quite hard to get a hold of but I found it on a website called Wobenzym N is a supplement that’s for joints but it works to repair scar tissue so when using it for fertility if you’ve had a miscarriage in the past or in my case used birth control that can cause scar tissue then it helps to repair that, I didn’t use it for too long so unfortunately didn’t fall pregnant while using it but it’s definitely worth looking up and even trying.
I also found something online called FertilPrep, I didn’t use it long enough to see any results but all the reviews are good, this is what I just copied from there website: FertilPrep is an exclusive supplement with NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine). NAC thins cervical mucus, helping facilitate transport of sperm to egg. FertilPrep works to help optimize the quality of your cervical mucus to help facilitate conception, reduce free radical oxidation, and support natural fertility...
Hope this helps x

Hey, I missed my period in December  and I was due on Tuesday 8th Jan but today I’m 4 days late but still getting negative tests, haven’t been to the doctors yet waiting to be a week late this time around before I go...

Pregnancy / Re: Teen pregnancy!

Even though this time you might not be pregnant, I just wanted to say that having sex even when your partner doesn’t ejaculate you can still get pregnant, this is something I just copied from google on pre-ejaculate - Can precum cause pregnancy?
Precum itself does not contain any sperm and can therefore not cause pregnancy on its own.
However, an earlier ejaculation (either from sex, masturbation, etc.) may leave some leftover sperm in the urethra. This sperm can get flushed out by precum (aka, the precum would then contain sperm), and together would have a chance to cause pregnancy.
Urinating can flush out any leftover sperm in the urethra. If people do this before having sex, then there should be no sperm in the urethra to be flushed out instead by the precum.
Can you contract an STI from precum?
Yes, you can contract an STI from precum.
The glands that produce precum can be subjected to bacterial and viral STIs and any precum that is produced has a risk of transmitting the STI.

Having sex without a condom weather your boyfriend ejaculates or not is just really silly especially if you’re worried about getting pregnant. You can get contraceptives that last for years so even if you don’t want to use or buy condoms for whatever reason there are plenty of options that you can use instead

Hey, sorry I’m not going to be much help right now but last month I was in a really similar situation and I posted on here but nobody decided to reply to me so just thought I’d reply to you so that you don’t feel so alone :)
Last month I completely missed my period, but kept getting negative tests, on Tuesday this week (8th Jan) I was due again, took a test on the Wednesday when I was 1 day late, still negative! Today I’m three days late (this will be day 4) and I darent take another test because last month I must have used around 10 tests... so I hope you find out sooner than me haha x

Periods / Re: What Was That?

I would speak to somebody for advice, a GP, if you’re in the UK maybe 111 for advice to see where they say that you should go?
A professional opinion is always best, and it’s always best to check something you’re not sure of especially when it comes to ovarian cysts as they can sometimes be very serious x

Periods / Late Period, A lot of Negative Tests
« on: December 27, 2018, 01:29:46 PM »
Hi, just looking for a bit of support more than advice really as I’ve scoured every end of the internet searching for information haha.
I am 19 days late for my period today, I’m normally a 31 day cycle and use the app to keep track of when I’m due, the most I’ve ever been is 4 days late, I typically get my period on my due date or a couple of days before or after. I’ve never been as many days late as 19, and me and my partner have been TTC for at least a year now but been struggling due to my history of using Depo-Provera, the birth control shot that last 3 months each time.
Anyway, I thought I was due on December 12th, and forgot about it until December 14th I was 2 days late, I felt a little excitement as I always do when I’m late but never get my hopes up because 2 days late is quite normal most months for me... so I came to the app only to realise that my period was actually due on December 8th, which meant that by the 14th I was 6 days late, not 2! My heart flipped because I’d never seen “period is 6 days late” before! So I was super excited, told my partner and I took 2 HPT, both Negative, so I assumed I’d gotten my hopes up.
The day after I tested again after not getting my period, negative again on two tests.
I waited until 9 Days late to test again, negative on another 2 tests.
Me and my partner decided to leave anymore tests due to the fact that I’d read online about HCG hormone not showing in some people for weeks before getting a positive.
Which brings us to today, Dec 27th, 19 days late, for the past 4 days I’ve been really nauseous and vomiting quite a bit, sometimes to the point where there is literally nothing left for me to throw up and I’m just gagging over the toilet because my body is really trying to be sick.
I used a first response test this afternoon because I figured if I’m being sick due to the HCG hormone making me nauseous then maybe now it will show on a test. But got another dissappointing negative.
It’s driving me insane because I can’t accept the fact that I’m pregnant until I’ve seen it in every form physically possible, I can’t get my hopes up only to find out that this is all a false alarm, but my partner is really wound up about it at the minute, especially because we’re going on holiday for the New Year and he’s really protective so he wants to know for definite if we have somebody on board with us for this holiday lol. Has anybody experienced this or anything similar? I don’t have female friends and I won’t talk to my family members about it until I know for sure, so it’s just my partner and he’s super supportive but every time I get a negative he doesn’t know what to think so would just like some people to give their opinions.
